A Powem on South Afrikan Polytics
Let's not forget
where Zuma learned to steal from,
dear black child of this land.
Remember how your ancestors had loads of land
Land that was consequently stolen -
Land no longer belonging to your people -
which is why you were raised ekasi at some point or another.
When the cattleherder was still herding cattle,
he was dreaming of being rich.
The only way for a cattleherder
to become rich
without education
is to steal.
Many of our brothers
and sisters
aged 20-60
are in jail.
They were taught by the past that stealing is as good a way as any.
Yet, ironically enough,
the teachers of crime never went to jail.
They have state institutions named after them.
Remember how we got here.
Only then will you, too, see where we are going.
