Naomi’s villainous Deville feud

World Wrestling
Entertainment superstar Naomi has, for months, been embroiled in an
entertaining (where not heart-breaking) feud with WWE official Sonya Deville –
whom she met twice in the ring this week on WWE Tv: first in a winning effort
on Friday night Smackdown, and again in the Royal Rumble.
Sonya Deville
entered the Rumble at number 11, and chose to wait for Naomi at the commentary
table. She left the commentator’s desk when
number 13, the returning Cameron and long-time friend of Naomi, entered the
Rumble. Deville would then savagely eliminate Cameron moments before Naomi would
enter the Rumble at number 14 – kickstarting round two of the amazing Sonya
Deville versus Naomi fight in a 24 hour cycle.
Naomi would waste
no time in clocking Sonya Deville’s number, and eliminating the WWE official.
Deville, however, did not return to the back.
She stayed, and waited for her moment to get even with Naomi. Her moment came when Smackdown women’s
Champion got Naomi over the top rope.
Naomi almost recovered in her athletic manner: but Sonya Deville would
have none of it, pulling Naomi out of the Royal Rumble.
There is no
guarantee that they will meet in the ring on Smackdown again; though with
Wrestlemania around the corner – for two stupendous nights: it’s possible that
the WWE will bless it’s universe with Naomi vs Sonya Deville on one of those
two nights, perhaps with a stipulation along the lines of ‘I quit’.
