Converged presentation on paywalls and multiplatformization towards salvaging media revenue

Paywalls are here to stay, and have been securedly applied within the media and news organisation landscape since the early 21st century (Myllyllahti, Pickard and Williams: 2014). The success of paywalls has been inconsistent to measure (Myllyllahti, 2014) and paywalls have only slightly mitigated losses sustained by media conglomorates facing declining newspaper sales and advertising revenue since the turn of the century..
